She loved Hawaii

Although Donna lived her entire life in Southern California, she loved
everything about Hawaii.
She and her husband, John, would visit the island as often as they
could. Her house was a shrine to the Aloha State.
Donna came to Forest Lawn to pre-arrange a service that reflected her
life, which was her passion for all things Hawaiian.

When she passed away years later, her wish came true.
To begin with, the Flower Shop at Forest Lawn turned the courtyard at
the Church of Our Heritage at Forest Lawn-Covina Hills into a tropical
paradise, filled with hibiscus, kaunaoa and lokelani blossoms.
Every guest had a gorgeous lei to wear.
A pair of authentic Hawaiian musicians performed island music on
ukuleles while three pretty Hawaiian girls danced a gentle hula for
Donna's friends and family, who wore Hawaiian shirts and dresses.
It was a funeral that was a unique celebration of her life.
Exactly how Donna wanted it.
Don't have someone else's funeral.
